This privacy policy applies to our games, apps and related services that refer or link to this privacy policy (each, a “Service”). 1. What data do we collect?

We collect the following data:

  • User name
  • Any other data that you choose to give us in the registration form or during the use of the Service
  • Data about your use of the Service, such as gameplay data and your interactions with other players inside the Service

2. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide NFG with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register yourself as a player of the Services
  • Provide information about yourself during the use of the Services

We also collect data about your account and game progress automatically from our Services.

3. Why do we collect your data?

In order to enter into and fulfil contracts with you, we process data necessary to create accounts and allow you to play our games and use our Services.

To provide a great Service to our players, we have legitimate interest to collect and process necessary data to:

  • Develop and improve the Services and player experience, and
  • Provide social features as part of the Services.

4. Who do we disclose your data to?

Apart from NFG, your data can be accessed by other players as a social feature of the Services. Other players may only see your user name and in-game activities.

Apart from the above, we do not disclose your data to other companies unless required by law or necessary to perform our statutory or contractual obligations to you.

5. How do we store your data?

NGF securely stores your data at Google Cloud Platforms. We strive to process your data within the EU/EEA, however storage of data may take place on servers located outside the EU/EEA. We have taken appropriate technical, organisational and administrative security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access and other unauthorised processing. We also ensure that an adequate level of protection is maintained when transferring your data outside the EU/EEA. These safeguards consist of ensuring that the third country or state at hand is subject to an adequacy decision by the European Commission, implementing the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or ensuring that the recipient is registered with the US Privacy Shield.

We will keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services to you. We will periodically de-identify unused accounts and we regularly review and de-identify unnecessary data.

You may at any time ask us to remove your data by deleting your account through the Service. All your personal data will then be de-identified.

6. What are your data protection rights?

Every user is entitled to the following rights:

  • The right to access – You have the right to know what personal we process about you. If you wish, you can get a compiled register extract from us that contains all the personal data we process about you.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request NFG to complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

NFG keeps it privacy policy under regular review and places any updates available to you at the web site www.nordicforestgames.com/legal/privacy-policy. This privacy policy was last updated on 20 May 2020.
